A Single Day on Earth
A cinematic experiment is being undertaken to document a single day of life on earth. It is the ultimate crowd-sourced project, taking 80,000 user generated videos and turning them into a film that will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. This is a great way of taking user generated content to create something that would be impossible without the power of modern technology and the internet. The film will be live streamed on YouTube at the same time as the premier, which points to the growing likelihood of YouTube becoming a major live content broadcaster over the coming year.
