Arcade Fire Interactive Website
A great interactive online video built in html5 to promote Arcade Fire's new album. It showcases the future of flash-less web browsing, the level of interactivity is excellent. Inputting your hometown into the website allows it to generate a video from Google maps showing a figure running through the streets. The way the website takes over your browser, using multiple windows to tell the same story really adds to the impact. Technically and creatively this is a beautiful piece of work, moving online interaction forward from merely the insertion of a name, phrase or face in a video. I may be biased as I am a big Arcade Fire fan.
